Command: beep
Usage: beep [on|off|y|n]
Setting inform to off or n stops the system from informing you of
people entering and leaving the board.
Command: catchup
Usage: catchup [folder]
Cathup marks the current folder as read.
If an (optional) folder is specified it marks that folder as read.
The special case of folder 'all' marks every folder as read.
Command: colour
Usage:
colour [on|off]
- Enable/Disable colours altogether
colour list
- List available colour schemes
colour <n>
- Select a colour scheme by its number
Talker Colour system.
Colours can be used within speech on the talker by inserting the
appropriate escape sequence.
The sequence is always ESC fgcolour bgcolour
It is necessary to 'escape' the ESC key to stop it being interpretted
by your terminal, this is achieved by first typing control-v.
hence an example key sequence is control-v escape r -
and should appear as ^[r- on your screen.
To cancel the current colour sequence, send ^[00
Colours: (use capital letters for bold)
- No change
w White b Blue k Black y Yellow
r Red c Cyan g Green m Magenta
