Automatic tagging feature: unexpected error

In preferences I enabled the automatic tagging feature (5 tags) and additionally the first two checkboxes below. "Add first tag to Genre" is unchecked.

When starting to play a song in itunes the following error message appears:

An unexpected error has occurred (AttributeError?: 'NoneType?' object has no attribute 'split') Quit or Continue

No last.fm tags appear.

When pressing "Continue" the same error appears again when next song starts.

After disableing the auto tag feature, program works fine again. last.fm tags appear.

Program is great, I really would appreciate a working auto tag feature.
